Inspired by our own kayaking and wake boarding vests, Float Doggy is created in collaboration with experts in buoyancy and canine anatomy and biomechanics.

We Resolved Two Issues with Dog Life Jackets
Enclosed The Harness Between The Front Legs
- Conventional jackets are open between the front legs, which can cause the heavy head and chest area to sink and fall through that gap - so we closed it with a continuous articulated chest and belly panel
- The enclosed design is better for buoyancy, security and comfort, particularly when being lifted
- Flotation in the under-chest panel supports the heavier shoulder area and helps keep the head higher in the water
- Attaching the handle to the full harness supports the dog fully, secures them firmly and eases pressure on soft issue
Trimmed And Articulated Panels To Create A More Streamlined Fit
- Conventional jackets are mostly rectangular with a curve around the neck because that’s cheaper to produce, but rectangles don’t fit around the curves of a dog and single piece buoyancy foam is stiff and awkward
- Every panel on the Float Doggy is curved to mirror the shape of a dog's body
- Each Float Doggy panel is articulated for flexibility to improve comfort and movement and give streamlined fit
- Float Doggy panels uses different densities of foam to best balance flotation and reduce bulk
- Independent front and rear adjustments allow for different body shapes
- For best visibility in and around the water we made the top panels brighter and placed waterproof reflective tape on the handle right on top for beacon-like visibility

We have a somewhat high anxiety aussie/cattle/husky/rottie mix pup who loves outdoor adventures, but hates wearing harnesses. He typically stays in the shallow end of calm water, but thanks to stunt puppy, he now ventures confidently out to deeper waters and loved his first kayaking adventure without hesitation. The Medium-wide fit his stalky 58 lb barrel chested cattle dog build well. He was able to move freely without discomfort in and out of the water. He jumped out of the kayak once and the handle for lifting made it fast and easy to get him back on board! Easy rinse off and hang to clean. Highly recommend.
I have been on a quest for a life jacket to fit my petite beagle. Stunt Puppy is sleek and fits like a glove. The design takes into consideration the dog's comfort while still providing the ability to move with ease. From the human's perspective the jacket provides hooks and handles exactly where they are needed. Kudos to your research and design team for creating a 5 star jacket.
Walter is a year old now and he will be going fishing with us on the boat. The fir was perfect! He’s a 16 pound Schnoodle and is wearing a size small. He hates feeling constrained and I was glad to see he was going to tolerate having it on for hours.
We love this dog life jacket! Allows my dogs to play and swim comfortably while allowing me to have some peace of mind that they are safe. I have purchased two of the float doggy’s after trying one other brand. I love that this life jacket goes under the chest and not just around the neck!
The Float Doggy is working great for my 50 lb Aussie Pit mix. It keeps her horizontal and head out of the water. She’s gotten a lot more confident swimming since using it. The first one I ordered didn’t seem to fit quite right. So I sent them pictures and they recommended a different size. That one fit just right. I highly recommend!
