Rocky Boy Pop Plains Guardians Everyday Collar

$40.00 USD

Description

Designed by Chippewa Cree graphic designer and illustrator Kaylene Big Knife, the Rocky Boy Pop collars are inspired by her home, Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation in Montana, and all the rez dogs in her life. These collars feature Kaylene’s signature bright, joyful colors and “Chippewa Cree pop art” style, which includes florals inspired by the Ojibwe — a.k.a. Chippewa — woodlands style and depictions of the wild berries found around Rocky Boy.

Kaylene’s designs are part of Stunt Puppy’s Indigenous Design Series, which showcases the unique perspectives and artwork of Indigenous creators. These collars are dedicated to all of the beloved rez dogs in Indigenous communities — so we’re donating 15% of the sales to Red Lake Rosie’s Rescue in support of their mission to reduce the overpopulation, homelessness, disease and malnutrition of dogs on the Red Lake Reservation in Northern Minnesota.  Learn more >
